Dr. Venkatesh L K, after completion of MBBS did MD(Ophthal) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi where he received Dr. Bodh Raj Sabharwal Gold Medal in Ophthalmology for the year 2004
He completed DNB in ophthalmology, National Board of Examinations, New Delhi followed by FRCS (Glasgow) in 2006
He subsequently was a Senior Registrar in Oculoplasty, Orbit, Ocular Oncology and Pediatric Ophthalmology at AIIMS, New Delhi and was awarded Best Senior Registrar for
the year 2007
He was later heading the department of Orbit, Oculoplasty & Ocular Oncology at Narayana Nethralaya, Rajajinagar, Bangalore
His areas of interest are Oculoplastic and Orbital surgeries, Pediatric ophthalmology (Retinoblastoma, Squint correction, Pediatric Cataract etc.) and Refractive surgeries
He has presented various papers, posters and presentations in state and national conferences
He is a life member of All India Ophthalmic Society, Karnataka Ophthalmic Society and Delhi Ophthalmologic Society
He has various publications in national and international peer reviewed journals
